University of Niagara Falls Canada

University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is a very new private university launched in 2023–2024 by Global University Systems Canada and based in downtown Niagara Falls. Its stated mission is to offer career-focused, digitally oriented academic programs (undergraduate honours degrees and a range of master’s programs) with emphasis on practical, industry-aligned skills such as data analytics, digital economy/marketing, biomedical science pathways and applied AI/technology subjects. UNF operates on a flexible quarter system, promotes work-integrated learning and offers multiple intake points and scholarship funding targeted at new students (including international applicants). The university occupies renovated downtown facilities intended to support small class sizes and hands-on learning. Because it is new and private, long-term reputation, research output and ranking status are still developing.
