Lehigh University
Lehigh University is a private research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, founded in 1865 by industrialist Asa Packer. With about 7,700 students across undergraduate and graduate programs, Lehigh offers a blend of rigorous academics, strong engineering, business, and liberal arts programs, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The university is divided into five colleges — Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Business, Education, and Health — and provides a close-knit community with a 10:1 student-faculty ratio. Lehigh is also globally engaged, with nearly 13% of its students being international from more than 90 countries, and a significant number of students studying abroad. The campus is large (over 2,300 acres) and scenic, and its location gives students access to the broader East Coast region while maintaining a small-city feel.
