Bahçeşehir Cyprus University
Bahçeşehir Cyprus University (BAU Cyprus) is a private university in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus, founded in 2016 and starting instruction in the 2017–2018 academic year. It is part of the BAU Global Education Network, which includes campuses in Istanbul, Berlin, Washington, Batumi, and more — giving students cross-campus opportunities.
Its Alayköy Campus, established in 2020, features modern facilities: smart classrooms, labs (including AI labs), computer labs, a practical courtroom, gym / sports fields, tennis courts, and a gastro café. The university provides a preparatory English program via its Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS), helping students meet language requirements; more than 100–120 international students attend this program annually.
Academically, BAU Cyprus offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs:
